"Would you like to hear a story?" Says he,
the captain, the widower, of the sea.
"I'm quite content without one" replies she,
sliding into the lock, her room key.
"I'd very much like to share" he said
The woman turns, "I'd rather go to bed."
So he frowns, he sighs, and wanders away
Come morning, he knows, they'll return to the bay
The woman sleeps in her own room,
the man sits silently, breathing her perfume.
The lady dreams of wine and men
The gentleman thinks only of his pen
The captain takes his time to write,
to get this story down on paper, in spite
of no one wanting to listen.
He looks to the waves, then, as the waters glisten
the morning sun breaking his concentration.
[this is good] I am sorry, that I interrupt you, but you could not give more information.
